WGS's Sarah Richardson co-wrote an op-ed, "Egg-freezing a better deal for companies than for women," that appeared on CNN.com this week.

Along with co-writers Rene Almeling and Joanna Radin of Yale, Richardson penned the piece in response to Apple and Facebook's recent announcements that their health insurance plans would cover egg-freezing for female employees who wish to postpone pregnancy. The three authors caution that although egg-freezing may help some women, "...it is not a solution to the overwhelming pressures that result from companies requiring long work hours and constant availability."
